Volunteer Accident Insurance

Your volunteers are essential to your school

Your volunteers are essential to your school, whether they serve as chaperones, crossing guards, sports assistants, classroom aides, club advisors and more. Unfortunately, accidents and injuries can happen while volunteers are serving your school and these claims are NOT covered by workers’ compensation. Without insurance for your unpaid volunteers, your school could be at risk for costly legal action if an accident occurs.

The PSBA Insurance Trust proudly presents this affordable program with A-G Administrators to address the lack of accident insurance protecting your school volunteers. Insurance coverage is provided for covered injuries incurred during the hours and days when the volunteer is attending or participating in a school sponsored or supervised activities on or off school property. Coverage also includes traveling to, during or after school activities as a member of a group in transportation furnished or arranged by the school.

This policy offers primary coverage and it pays without regard to other coverage or medical plan. Benefits are payable for accidental injuries reported within one year of occurrence.

With two plan options to choose from, you can choose which plan fits not only the needs of your school volunteers but your budget as well.
